IBC Green reduces the carbon footprint on the environment by
using 73%* less plastic than a traditional rigid IBC. Less
plastic being used means less energy in processing petroleum to
plastic.
The outer two layers of the inner liner assembly can be recycled
which uses less energy versus manufacturing virgin material. |
The IBC Green bag system eliminates unnecessary product waste in
two ways. First, the IBC Green comes ready to use. there is no
need to cut or score the inner bag so there is no loss of
product. Second, because the inner liner fills with
limited air space, there is less loss of product due to product
skinning.
Save paper and use the web to recycle your IBC Green. Instead
of filling out a paper form time and time again, click
here and set up
your return electronically. |
Lighter to ship when either full or empty, the IBC Green reduces
the amount of diesel fuel used during transportation. A full
truckload of IBC Green is on average 2,460 pounds lighter
than a similar IBC with a rigid bottle.
Customers may choose to implement a closed loop system between
the filler and the emptier and only replace the inner bag each
trip. This reduces two legs of transportation. |
